This wrapped box contains a secret. A Christmas gift for my love. Something decadent, something desired, something to fill his heart and his belly with comfort and joy. It is a matcha tea set complete with bamboo whisk, white porcelain bowl for mixing, and a sterling silver spoon that’s the exact measure tea masters say is required for the perfect scoop of matcha. Also, there are three small packs of matcha in three flavors: mint, chocolate, and plain. The perfect… Keep Reading

Homecoming weekend! Tailgating, s’mores making, theater performances, live chess match, cider pressing, and barely time to sleep. Of course no visit to see your kid is complete without the obligatory pose in the quadrangle for photographs in the cold rain.

My favorite book of 2016 arrived 6 days before the end of 2016. A Christmas gift from my brother and on the topic of words and how we as women craft ourselves for social consumption. This book will be riding shotgun well into the new year.
